1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Gym Gym handles information when you use the Gym Gym workout tracker app. Gym Gym is developed by N.C.A. Vertelman, based in the Netherlands.

2. Summary

Gym Gym is designed to work with minimal data handling:

• No account is required.
• No personal data is sold or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.
• No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are used.
• Workout and app data stay on your device, or in your private iCloud if you enable iCloud sync.
• Payments, subscriptions, and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

3. Workout and App Data

Gym Gym stores the information it needs to function as a workout tracker, including exercises, sets, reps, weights, workout history, onboarding answers, and app preferences. This data is stored locally on your device using Core Data, and is synced to your private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit if you have iCloud enabled for the app. We do not have access to this data and it is not sent to our servers.

4. Free Access and Gym Gym Pro

Gym Gym can be used for free with limited access. Free users can add up to 3 sessions per exercise and view up to 7 days of workout history. These limits are enforced inside the app using data stored on your device and, where applicable, synced through your private iCloud account.

Gym Gym Pro gives you full access, including unlimited workouts per exercise and full workout history access.

5. Apple Health

If you grant permission, Gym Gym writes workout start and end times to Apple Health. That is the only Health data Gym Gym writes, and the app does not read any HealthKit data. Health access is optional and can be revoked at any time in the Apple Health app or in iPhone Settings. Any data written to Apple Health is then managed by you through Apple's Health framework, including which other apps you allow to access it.

6. Subscriptions, Lifetime Purchase, and Payments

Gym Gym offers monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, as well as a one-time lifetime purchase to access Gym Gym Pro forever.

All purchases, renewals, free trials, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing are handled by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We do not collect, see, or process your payment card details.

Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple App Store account settings. The lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase and does not renew.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. Data may be disclosed only if required by law or a valid legal obligation.

8. Security

Your workout data lives on your device and, where applicable, in your private iCloud storage via Apple's CloudKit. We rely on established platform and service providers and take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Gym Gym is available for all ages. The app does not require account creation and does not operate its own user data collection system beyond the platform services described in this Privacy Policy, so we do not knowingly collect personal information from children on our own servers. If you believe information was provided in a way that should be reviewed, please contact us.

10. Your Choices

• Manage Health access any time in the Apple Health app or iPhone Settings.
• Disable iCloud sync for the app in your Apple device settings if you do not want workout data synced.
• Manage, cancel, or renew subscriptions through your Apple App Store account settings.
• Restore eligible purchases, including Gym Gym Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase, through the app or your Apple account where supported by Apple.

11. International Use

Gym Gym is operated from the Netherlands. Because the app uses Apple platform services such as iCloud, Apple Health, StoreKit, and the App Store, some data may be processed by Apple according to its own terms and privacy practices.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the updated Privacy Policy in the app or on this page.
